Ararat Town Hall

The Ararat Town Hall (Ararat Performing Arts Centre) is the cultural and entertainment hub of the Grampians; serves as a multipurpose venue for a number of events.

The centre hosts numerous major performances and events throughout the year by local art groups.

If you are visiting the area, check out the schedule of events or shows. Each month, there are noontime concerts held at the centre, while the One Act Play Festival takes place every August. It also caters to a diverse array of performances including morning melodies, educational programs, musical comedies, school holiday programs, concerts, instrumental shows, and many more.

The Ararat Performing Centre boasts of a 550 seating capacity, with 243 retractable seats. It features a stage 6×10 meters in size, black box curtaining, a spacious foyer, 2 dressing rooms, green room and supper room, complete kitchen facilities, and a bar that is operated by management.
