Broken Falls is a jaw-dropping natural attraction that offers both relaxation and adventure.

Even though the Grampians is known for being home to a plethora of stunning waterfalls, this one in particular, has its own unique beauty that makes it worth a visit.

The best way to access the falls is through the walking track that begins at the MacKenzie Falls car park located on Wartook Road. From here, take the leisurely 500m-return stroll through lush green scenery and it won’t be long before you reach a viewing platform.

After you’ve taken in the views, you have the choice of going back to the car park or continuing the trek headed downwards to MacKenzie Falls, from where you can also visit Fish Falls.

For travellers who wish to spend a night or two, the nearby Smiths Mill Campground is recommended. It’s just 1.1km away, but if you are just going to spend the day, you can unwind at the picnic area located along the car park. The picnic area is equipped with toilets and is both wheelchair and pram friendly.
