Along the road and beside the picnic area is a small parking lot. The picnic area is tucked into a clearing within the bush, where visitors are treated to spectacular views. The facilities here include a picnic table, an extra table, and a small barbecue. It’s generally very quiet in the area save for a few birds singing nearby.
From the picnic area, visitors can take the walking track to go to Governor Rock Lookout Tower. The lookout spot is made of steel steps and railing for guidance; from here, you can take in views of the bushland, farmland, and hills.
