Hi we are visiting Halls Gap and are wondering if there are any Markets or Events for the weekend 9/11/19?
Thanks
Hi Sharon,
Unfortunately, it appears that the Halls Gap Village Market is on the weekend after you are there – held on Sun 17th Nov.
Also, the Halls Gap School Craft Market was held just yesterday, so there doesnt appear to be anythign local on while you are there.
The only options for that weekend appear to be the Natimuk Farmers Market and the Ararat Monthly Farmers Market.
Thanks
Michael
We will be staying in Dunkeld on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of March. Are their ant special activities in the Grampian area on that weekend?
Hi Pauline,
The Grampians Texture Festival in Halls Gap will be starting on the 17th of March.
Best regards,

Hi there a group of us planning a weekend in Halls Gap 13,14,15 October 2017. I am after market dates for that weekend and other ideas; such as cheese tastings, wineries etc
G’day Al,
After a quick check of the events that weekend, there isn’t anything that lines up with your dates. There are a few flower shows that are typically on around this time, although their dates for 2017 are yet to be confirmed. So you’ll have to check back with us in a month or two, and hopefully the organisers have confirmed the dates for the various festivals.
I can however suggest a few fun activities that we have done ourselves: Take a walk to Mackenzie Falls, swim in the Venus Baths, walk up to Boroka Lookout and go Horse Riding. Halls Gap Zoo is also a great little country zoo where you get up close to many of the animals (last time I held a snake!)
As for wineries, head to our Attractions page which lists the many things to see and do in the Grampians, and here is the page which lists the many wineries in the region. (FYI Seppelt Winery did a lovely cheese platter last time I visited).
Hope this gives you some ideas, so have a great time in the Grampians!
Kind regards,
Jess
