Hamilton Racecourse

Hamilton Racecourse, located between the scenic coastline and the Grampians, offers race goers an enthralling opportunity to savour track events. The racecourse is located on Henty Highway in Hamilton, and is easily accessible from towns around the Grampians.

The main attraction at the Hamilton Racecourse is the Hamilton Cup 2200m that is held in October each year. In addition to the Cup, the Hamilton Racecourse also hosts close to a dozen meetings every year. These include jump races which are also a popular attraction in Hamilton.

The racecourse also provides an ideal location for other private functions such as engagement parties, weddings, birthday parties and corporate functions. These events can be hosted at one of the many rooms at the racecourse including the Sir Agrifo Room, the Apex Room and the Puramaka Room.

There is plenty of food for sale at the Hamilton Racecourse as are plenty of drinks, including some local wines and beers. There are on-course bar and tote facilities so that you never have to leave the track side.
