Racing is a popular activity in Horsham and the Horsham Racecourse attracts visitors from Victoria and beyond for some of Victoria’s biggest race days.
The Horsham Racecourse is best known as the host for the Horsham Cup, one of the biggest race meets on the Victorian Country racing calendar which is held in October each year.

Entertainment is available on the track for big race days as well as numerous activities for the kids. There is plenty of food for sale at the Horsham Racecourse as are plenty of drinks, including some local wines and beers. There are on-course bar and tote facilities so that you never have to leave the track side.
You are permitted to bring your own picnic into the races (no glass), however BYO alcohol is not permitted. There is a licenced bar on site. Portable BBQ’s are also not permitted to be used at the racecourse.
On race days, the gates typically open at 11am and the first race is generally at 1pm, but it is advisable to check details for specific events beforehand. There is ample parking on location.
