MUD Gallery, Community Art Gallery, Opening Hours & Address, Hamilton
As the premier venue for artists who want to display and sell their unique creations, the MUD Gallery is a must-visit for visitors who are keen to immerse in local art.
The gallery was named MUD, as the new managers of the space were inspired by the ‘salt of the earth’, while adding a quirky twist to its name. Additionally, its name also pays homage to the Hamilton Institute of Rural Learning’s mud brick buildings located at the boundary road. It also serves as a symbol of growth, or beauty arising from the mud – just like the artists who showcase their creative works.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the natural surroundings of the gallery. It’s located in a lush, green area of Hamilton that places you amidst nature in scenic gardens.
MUD Gallery is located at 101 Gray Street in Hamilton.
