The Peter Francis Points Arboretum is a centre that houses a collection of plants native to Australia, and whose operations are managed by Parks Victoria.
The arboretum covers an area that spans 100 acres and is home to one of the largest collection of plant species recognised for their indispensable value in environmental conservation.

The Peter Francis Points Arboretum is a beautiful and laid-back location, making it suitable for picnicking. Simply carry the basics: food, a picnic blanket and some good company and you are good to go. Alternatively, you can make use of the picnic tables available and have a BBQ at the facilities provided.
Outdoor lovers will enjoy taking a walk across the numerous walking trails that dot the arboretum, all the while enjoying the flora that is unique to ‘The Points’. With over 4kms of walking trails, all with various degrees of difficulty, there is the perfect walking trail for everyone.
Other facilities at Peter Francis Points Arboretum include toilets (including wheelchair accessible), ample parking for cars and buses as well as a playground to keep the kids occupied during the visit. Please also note that fires are prohibited across the arboretum and tap water available is unsuitable for drinking.
