The Rupanyup Memorial Park is located by a billabong and walking track, which can easily take you into town. A walking track around 3.5km long is also found north of the silo. The site’s caretakers are very friendly and will help you with anything that you need.
As it’s extremely close to several cultural and historical attractions, these are the main reasons visitors come to stay a night or more. The Rupanyup Silo Art is perhaps the most famous of all these; it is the brainchild of Julia Volchkova, a Russian artist who created the works to promote the town’s youth and highlight their passion for sports.
The Silo Art Trail is another major attraction, starting from the Rupanyup to Patchewollock. The entire trail is around 200 kilometres long and takes two hours to complete. For this reason, it’s best to stay at least a night at the Rupanyup Memorial Park.
Rupanyup Memorial Park is located on the Wimmera Highway in Rupanyup, Victoria.
