Stawell Harness Racing Club

The Stawell Harness Racing Club is a significant player in the local harness racing community.

Established in 1956 at Laidlaw Park, the club holds 10 race meetings that are held throughout the year.

In July, the famous Maori Legend is held to honour Trotter Maori Idol, a past local champion. There are also several notable cup races throughout the year, while the Cup Race Meeting is held once a year. Members are encouraged to try one of the club’s complete packages, which includes racing, dining, and wagering. Corporate seminars and weddings are also welcome.

For those interested to become a member, club memberships are open from September 1 to August 31^st. It costs $44 for trainers interested to use the track or $16.50 for voting members.

The bistro is also open 7 days a week from morning until late at night, with meals offered Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to 8pm.

The Stawell Harness Racing Club racetrack is located at Laidlaw Park, 78 Patrick Road in Stawell, Victoria.
