The Sundial Carpark, found at the end of the Sundial Road within the Grampians National Park, is best known for being a jump-off point for many exciting adventures.
The car park itself features picnic tables, walking tracks, information signs, and toilets for the comfort of travellers.

Getting to the Pinnacle Lookout is a 4.2 km return walk, for an estimate of around 2 hours. Aside from incredible wildlife, visitors will also be treated to breathtaking views along the way. If you are bringing children along, the Sundial Carpark route is recommended for its safety and friendliness for kids.
Another great walk is the Lakeview Lookout; also accessible from the Sundial Carpark. The distance is 1.2 km return, which takes around 30-45 minutes depending on your speed. It’s also fairly easy, and you’ll see some rock formations and a great view of Lake Bellfield.
The Sundial Peak is a popular hike among avid hikers. This moderate climb takes you to a 4.2 km return journey, taking around 2 hours where you trek through rocks and slippery track surfaces. Because of the nature of its terrain, Sundial Peak is best suited for the experienced.
Other great places to explore from here include Lake Bellfield, Mount Rosea, Halls Gap, and the Wonderland Loop.
