One of the truly unique aspects of the event is its location; there are no permanent grandstands at the racecourse. During the Dunkeld Cup, every aspect of the location, including seating and power sources, is created from scratch.

The event, which takes place during the Spring Racing Carnival, is breathtaking in many ways. This iconic racing event is one of the most well-loved in Australia and has even been awarded as the best race event of the year in 2008, 2009, and 2016.
