Party with the Ponies

Party with the Ponies is an exciting annual race day that has been taking place at the Hamilton Racecourse since 2005.

The event celebrates the International Day of People with a Disability and seems to raise awareness of the disabled’s achievements and contributions. It also seeks to promote benefits by including those in the community.

For twenty years the Hamilton Racing Club have hosted The Party with the Ponies. Celebrating International Day of People with A Disability, we offer a special day for our community and groups with a range of activities, including arts and crafts, face painting, fashions on the field, Hamilton Community House Activities, cake decorating, jumping castle and more.

We also celebrate the festive season with Christmas Lunch Packages available.

The event hosts disabled and aging care facilities from all over the region; Hamilton, Portland, Coleraine, Warracknabeal, Ararat, and Millicent, among others, will also be joining.

General Admission

General Admission is your pass to a full day of racing action in the country, where you’re sure to have a day that’s got it all. Pre-purchasing your ticket is a great way to avoid the queue on race day and walk straight into the action.

Country casual is the attire of choice; be sure you are comfortable enough to enjoy the day. Grandstand seating outside is also available for those who prefer to watch the race from an undercover area.
