Hot Summer Nights Rod Run 

The Grampians also hosts a popular hot rod event called the Hot Summer Nights Rod Run (previously known as the Grampians Rod Run and the Old Skool Hot Rod Event).

With many customs and hot rod car enthusiasts heading to Horsham for this fun day out, the Hot Summer Nights Rod Run is a major hit amongst all car lovers in and around the Grampians. The event also features some displays from New South Wales and Queensland.

Come here to explore the range of amazing cars on display. Also, the club hosts the popular Hotrod Run in February every year. With hundreds of hot rods yearly, the event is a big hit with locals and visitors alike. Visitors interested in participating can visit the event website and check out the criteria for application.

On Friday, there will be registrations and a meet and greet BBQ. On Saturday, there will be late morning registrations, a riverside cruise to a POI and a lunch for registered participants. In the evening, “Hot Summer Nights Cruising” till late in the main streets, with on-street dining locations and takeaway available. On Sunday, enjoy the morning sights and get down to the Show N Shine.

Some participants worldwide come to this fantastic event to showcase their unique cars. Sponsored by the Wimmera-based Old Skool Hot Rod club, this charity event is an increasingly popular motoring event in the region.
